Inspired by technology and media when the digital era first began: VHS tapes, point & shoot cameras, walkmans and pirated cable boxes. 1221 innovates nostalgia from Gen Z and millennial youth to fulfill the aesthetics of today. We pride ourselves on being both the consumer and the creator, marketing aesthetic familiar to our collective taste.
As young filmmakers, we aspire to create a more ethical environment than what our peers before us have experienced We are on the way to ending on set horror stories soon those will just be old stories.

Francesca Cavalcanti (Frankie)
Director, Producer, Model and Editor
Frankie leverages the experience of her modeling career to navigate the creative direction in her work behind the camera. A style that encompasses storytelling and fashion while working mostly in the commercial world. Working as a model with over 5 years of industry experience has exposed her array of young creatives like herself with multiple talents who she collaborates with regularly and is slowly building her 1221 team.“My journey of working in different areas of the creative industry has taught me that I could be the main character while also being the director”.
